Business Development Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a smart and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our team at our Calicut branch office. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT hardware sales and possess the skills to generate leads, meet sales targets, prepare estimates and proposals, close deals, and excel in a competitive environment. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Research and identify potential clients who could benefit from IT hardware solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Create and implement action plans to achieve sales objectives.
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for IT hardware solutions based on client needs and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals align with technical requirements.
- Lead negotiations and work towards successfully closing deals with clients.
- Ensure a smooth transition of closed deals to the delivery and implementation teams.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Use this knowledge to position products and services effectively.
- Continuously learn and adapt to changes in the IT hardware industry.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT hardware sales is preferred.
- Previous experience in a Business Development or Sales Manager role is a plus.
- Strong understanding of IT hardware products and solutions.
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
